Dates and time zones

  • All dates are returned in UTC in ISO 8601 format with a Z suffix.
  • Example: "2026-05-15T15:32:11.1234567Z".
  • Local offsets are not used (-06:00, +02:00) — always UTC.

Converting to Costa Rica local time

Costa Rica is UTC-6 (no daylight saving time).

A note on issuance dates: Hacienda (Costa Rica’s tax authority) validates that fechaEmision falls within a reasonable range (±48 h from the current moment). If the server clock is out of sync, rejections can occur.
