Versioning

Path-based versioning is used: /api/v1/....

Policy

  • Compatible changes (new optional fields, new enum values) → no version change.
  • Incompatible changes (renaming fields, changing types, removing fields) → new version /api/v2/.
  • Deprecation: announced 90 days in advance in the changelog and via email to administrators.

Commitment

  • v1 will remain supported for at least 24 months from the announcement of v2.
  • During that period, it receives bugfixes but no new features.
