Hacienda outages

Interruptions to the Hacienda (Costa Rica’s tax authority) service are infrequent, but they happen. When it occurs, documents aren’t “lost”: LX CloudPos holds them and handles the retry. The important thing is to not reissue them in the meantime.

While Hacienda isn’t responding:

• Issuances stay in estadoHacienda: "procesando" or "error".
• LX CloudPos automatically retries with backoff.
• The same document must not be reissued — it would create a fiscal duplicate that can’t be reversed without an NC.

Recommended handling: after a few minutes, query the status and alert the team if the document stays in procesando for too long. Don’t reissue it — just notify.
