Other charges

Some products have other charges associated with them (for example, the Bar Association stamp duty or professional service surcharges).

They are configured at the product level in the POS.
They are applied only if the customer “pays the stamp duty” (a customer attribute).
They are additional to VAT and don’t overlap with it.

If this case doesn’t sound familiar, it probably doesn’t apply to the business in question. It’s recommended to check with the relevant accountant.
